Transfer opportunity to Kansai Gaidai University (KGU)

Kansai Gaidai University (KGU) is a prestigious private university located in Osaka, Japan. Known for its strong focus on international studies. In 2023, KGU started a new BA program in Global Engagement, which offers an innovative curriculum with emphases diverse cultures, languages, and global issues across borders and they are currently accepting transfer applications from community college students in the U.S. who are interested in completing their Baccalaureate degree in Japan.

KGU’s BA program in Global Engagement is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of global issues and enhance their intercultural competence. Through a combination of theoretical courses and practical experiences, students learn about various aspects of international relations, global economics, and cross-cultural communication. With a focus on experiential learning, students have the opportunity to engage in immersive study abroad experiences, internships, and service-learning projects, fostering a deep appreciation for cultural diversity and global perspectives. Graduates of this program are well-prepared to navigate the complexities of the global arena and make meaningful contributions to society as responsible and culturally competent leaders.
