LaGuardia’s SOAR Program allows students of all majors to explore paid internship opportunities from employers all over New York City, where they can gain skills and further knowledge in their field of study. This is a paid internship opportunity ($20/h, 12 hours per week) in Fall 2022.
Internship Placements:
- Fall Session I (October-December)
- 10 weeks, 10-12 hours a week
- $20 an hour
Student Eligibility Criteria
- All majors
- Enrolled for a minimum of 6 academic credits for Fall 2022, Session I and II
- 2.5 GPA and higher
- A minimum of 15 credits
To apply for the program, students are to complete the following steps:
- Attend one of the SOAR Information Sessions (Strongly recommended but optional):

- Schedule an appointment for a resume review with a CCPD Professional on Career Connect or request on the CCPD Virtual Office (see attached instructions)
- Upload approved resume in Career Connect
- Check email daily for acceptance email by the end of August
