“Drive My Car” (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt14039582/), based on a short story by Haruki Murakami, is a story of a grieving stage actor and director after the passing of his wife. This film directed by Ryusuke Hamaguchi has been nominated for several awards at the Oscars this year and might become the second foreign-language film winning the best picture award (following South Korea’s “Parasite” two years ago).
