A fire in Sunnyside today (Thursday, August 12, 2021) caused major damage to several small businesses, including Taiyo Foods (a Japanese grocery store near LaGuardia Community College). Sunnyside District Management Association started a fundraising page to support the small business owners affected by the fire.
