Rikako Ikee, a star swimmer in Japan, had to give up her hope for the Tokyo Olympic Games when she was diagnosed with leukemia in 2019. She was able to resume her swimming practice in mid 2020 and just won the women’s 100-meter butterfly at the national championships this weekSunday. She is now qualified for the 4×100-meter medley relay at the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2021.
