Japan declared a state of emergency between Sunday, April 25, 2021 and Tuesday, May 11, 2021 to curb the rising COVID-19 infections. This is the third time that Japan has declared the state of emergency for COVID-19 and the third state of emergency seems to be less effective than the previous ones.
