Hostos Community College is hosting this speaker series in Spring 2021. The second speaker is Meet Jiro, an ambassador of Japan’s southwestern island of Kyushu. Jiro hosts travelers from around the world at his guest house in Yame, Fukuoka so that they can experience the beauty of the Japanese countryside, develop relations with locals, and learn about tea production first-hand. Jiro will speak about how you can join him in his mission of grassroots revitalization.
