A group of students from Tokyo University won a national virtual stock market competition (https://manabow.com/sl/result/25) and they are visiting LaGuardia Community College on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 as part of their prize trip to New York City. They are visiting LaGuardia to learn about college life in New York and what college students in New York think about investment (e.g., inflation). The Japanese group consists of about 5 college students. They will arrive at LaGuardia at 11:00am, followed by lunch, a campus tour and intercultural activities with LaGuardia students until 4:00pm.
