LaGuardia CARES (College Access for Retention and Economic Success) connects students with resources, referrals and local community services to overcome financial barriers, stay in school and graduate. LaGuardia CARES provides resources for daily living expenses, including food, healthcare, rent, utilities, childcare, and emergency transportation.
The LaGuardia CARES office is helping students enroll in Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). Visit the LaGuardia CARES office in person room C107 or the virtual office at https: www.laguardia.edu/cares.
- SNAP enrollment: LaGuardia students enrolled at least part-time may be eligible. Email for details at [email protected] or visit the office in room C107
- Hours : Monday & Thursday 9am – 6:30pm; Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 9am – 4:30pm. No appointment needed.
- Other services provided by LaGuardia CARES : Resources for daily living expenses, including food, healthcare, rent, utilities, childcare, emergency transportation and more.
- If you need food the CARES pantry now has an online food pantry ordering system!
- All of these services are free for LaGuardia students and their immediate family members.
