The Japan Studies Program is pleased to announce Crossing Paths: Coming Together to Increase L2 Fluency and C2 Competency (CrossingPaths2021) project, an international collaboration project between Meiji Gakuin University in Tokyo and the Japanese Language Program at LaGuardia Community College in New York.

In this project, a group of students are paired with their partner groups/students in the other college and communicate through various technology tools. The project takes place from September 2021 through November 2021. Students in Intermediate Japaense (ELJ103 and ELJ104) can participate in this project, but we also welcome students from elementary-level Japanese classes (ELJ101 and ELJ102). If you are interested, contact Tomonori Nagano at tnagano@lagcc.cuny.edu.
